The local CPA firm of Condley and Company, L.L.P. is proud to announce the recent promotions of Thomas Payne, CPA, CGMA and Garrett L. Smith, CPA, CGMA.
Payne started his career at the firm in 2010. As a tax senior accountant, he provides tax preparation, reviews and bookkeeping services for the firm’s clients.
Payne received his Master of Accountancy degree in 2009 and his Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting and Finance in 2008 from Abilene Christian University. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants (TSCPA). Payne is a current resident of Abilene, Texas.
Smith has been with the firm since 2009. As a tax senior accountant, he is responsible for preparing complex individual, corporate, partnership and nonprofit tax returns. In addition to his client responsibilities, Smith is a member of the firm’s oil and gas and technology committees.
Smith graduated cum laude and was on the dean’s list while attending Abilene Christian University where he received his Master of Accountancy and Bachelor of Business Administration in 2009. He is a member of the AICPA, the TSCPA and the Texas State Board of Public Accountancy (TSBPA). In addition, Smith is a board member for the Abilene Public Library’s Friends of the Library. He currently resides in Abilene, Texas with his wife, Kimberly.
