February 2022 – The certified public accounting firm of Condley and Company, L.L.P. is pleased to announce the promotions of team members Tara Boiles (Manager), Hope Wegrzynowicz (Manager), Rebecca Armstrong (Senior II), Andres Chavez (Senior II), Kristina Warrix (Senior II), Jack Moore (Senior I), and Kylen Williams (Senior I).

Tara Boiles has been a member of the Assurance department team since 2017. She has specialized knowledge in performing attest work for community colleges and governmental entities, including single audits for which she holds an advanced certificate. She also performs audits of not-for-profits and other for-profit entities as well as consulting services for governmental entities. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants (TXCPA), the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, and Abilene Young Professionals. In the community, Tara serves on the Leadership team for Safe Families for Children, and she volunteers with Junior Achievement and Mentors Care. Tara attended Louisiana State University in Shreveport and received her Bachelor of Science in Accounting in 2007 and Master of Business Administration in 2017. She is from Sweetwater, Texas and currently resides in Abilene with her husband Josh and their three children.

Hope Wegrzynowicz joined the firm in 2012 and works in the Estate and Trust department. As a Manager, she provides gift, trust, and estate compliance services to a variety of clients. She also works specifically with non-profits and other business entities to provide tax services. She graduated from Hardin Simmons University with a Bachelor of Business Administration in 2012 and a Master of Business Administration in 2014. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants (TXCPA). In the Abilene chapter of TXCPA, Wegrzynowicz serves on the Board of Directors and will begin her role as President in June 2022. In the Abilene community, she serves on the board for Alliance for Women and Children and maintains an Abilene Young Professionals membership. Wegrzynowicz resides in Abilene with her family.

Rebecca Armstrong joined the Assurance department at Condley and Company in 2017. As a Certified Public Accountant, she primarily works with financial institutions, not-for-profits, and healthcare entities but also has experience in retail and manufacturing. Armstrong is an integral part of the firm’s data analytic consulting segment, exploring how she can enable clients to leverage technology to make highly informed, data-driven decisions. She graduated from Hardin-Simmons University in Abilene with a BBA in Accounting and Information Systems. In the community, Armstrong currently serves as the Treasurer of the Abilene Preservation League. She resides in her hometown of Abilene, Texas with her husband Eric.

Andres Chavez joined Condley and Company in June 2018 in the Tax department.  He is a Certified Public Accountant with over three years of accounting experience. He is a graduate of Abilene Christian University, receiving his Master of Accountancy and his Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting. Chavez holds membership with the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants (TXCPA), the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), and Abilene Young Professionals (AYP). He resides in Abilene with his wife Bayli and son Aeson.

Kristina Warrix began her career with Condley in 2018 in the Tax department, working with individuals and business entities involved in oil and gas, real estate, and agriculture. In 2021, Warrix was awarded the Elijah Watts Sells Award, one of the most prestigious awards in the accounting profession given to high-performing CPA candidates. Warrix also received the Top Ten Award from the Texas State Board of Public Accountancy (TSBCA) in 2020 as well as the Accounting Excellence Award from the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants (TXCPA) in 2018. She is a graduate of Hardin-Simmons University, receiving her Master of Business Administration in 2020 and her Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and Finance in 2018. Warrix resides in Abilene with her husband Joseph.

Jack Moore began his career in Condley and Company’s Assurance department in 2020. In his role as Senior I, he primarily works with not-for-profits and governmental entities. He also has experience working with clients in manufacturing and retail and with performing single audits. Moore is a graduate of Texas Tech University with a Bachelor of Business Administration, obtaining a double major in Accounting and Finance. He maintains memberships with the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants (TXCPA), the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), and Abilene Young Professionals (AYP).

Kylen Williams joined the Tax Department at Condley & Company, L.L.P. full-time in September 2019 after two prior internships at the firm.  He is a Certified Public Accountant with over two years of accounting experience.  He graduated from Hardin-Simmons University with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and a minor in Leadership. He is a member of the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants (TXCPA), the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), and Abilene Young Professionals (AYP). Williams resides in his hometown of Abilene, Texas.
