Condley and Company, L.L.P. is pleased to announce the promotions of team members Tara Boiles, Jeff Duncan, Megan Elling, Thomas Payne and Garrett Smith.

Boiles joined Condley in the Assurance Department and has been a member of the team since 2017. She specializes in audit and consulting for various governmental entities including counties, cities and other special – purpose governments. Tara attended Louisiana State University Shreveport and received her Bachelor of Science in Accounting in 2007 and Master of Business Administration in 2017. Tara is a member of Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants (TSCPA), Abilene Young Professionals and Emmanuel Fellowship Church. Raised in Sweetwater and currently resides in Abilene with her husband Josh and their three children.
Duncan joined Condley in 2008 in the Assurance Department. He is a 2008 graduate of Abilene Christian University with his Masters of Accountancy. Jeff received his CPA 2012. In his role as an Assurance Senior Manager he provides comprehensive audits, review and compilation services for a variety of clients, including financial institutions. Throughout Jeff’s time at Condley and Company, he has played an integral role in his clients’ success. Duncan is a member of Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants (TSCPA), Historic Paramount Theatre Board of Directorsand Abilene Young Professionals. He and his wife Stephanie resides in Abilene with their family.
Elling joined Condley in 2016 and works in the Assurance Department. She specializes in audits, review and compilation services for various industries including not-for-profit, for-profit entities and healthcare. Elling also performs audits of employee benefit plans and Bank Secrecy Act reviews. She earned her Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting form Hardin-Simmons University in 2017. Megan is a member of the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants (TSCPA) and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). She currently resides in Abilene with her family.
Payne joined Condley in 2010 in the Tax Department. Thomas received his CPA in 2012 and his Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA) certification in 2018. In his role as Tax Senior Manager, he specializes in tax and business valuations. He is a graduate of Abilene Christian University where he earned his Bachelor of Business Administration degree in accounting and finance in 2008. Thomas then went on to receive his Master of Accountancy in 2009. He is a member of the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants (TSCPA), the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the National Association of Certified Valuators and Analysts. Payne currently resides in Abilene.
Smith joined theCondley Tax Department in 2009. In his role as Senior Tax Manager, he primarily works with banking and oil and gas companies. Garrett is responsible for reviewing complex individual, corporate and partnership tax returns for the firm’s clients and he also prepares business valuations. Garrett attended Abilene Christian University and received his Bachelor of Business Administration degree in 2008. He then received his Master of Accountancy degree in 2009. Garrett received his CPA in Certified Public Accounting in 2011 and he is also a Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA). He is a member of the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants (TSCPA), the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Texas State Board of Public Accountancy (TSBPA), and Abilene Young Professionals. He and his family reside in Abilene.
