Leroy Bolt

Leroy grew up in Amarillo, he is a graduate of West Texas State University, and he holds a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation from the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). He joined Condley & Company in 1978 and is a Partner in the Estate and Trust Department.

Over the course of his career, Leroy has developed a passion for offering the firm’s clients the best of both worlds. He considers it extremely important for clients to receive the personalized attention and responsive service of a local firm, as well as the resources, knowledge, and breadth of services you would expect from a national accounting organization. He continues to work with a variety of clients providing estate tax planning and trust services.

Leroy is currently a member of the AICPA and of the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants (TXCPA). He is a former president of the Abilene Chapter of the TXCPA and has served the Society in a variety of roles, including six executive committee boards, chair of the New Public Accountancy Act Task Force, chairman of the CPA-Pac, chairman of the TXCPA Legislative Advisory Committee, chairman of the TXCPA Oil and Gas Taskforce and member of the TXCPA Federal Tax Policy Committee. In 2010 and 2011, Leroy received the highest honor bestowed by the TXCPA, the Meritorious Service Award, and in 2000 and 2012, received the Special Recognition Award for significant contributions to the Oil and Gas Task Force of the Federal Tax Policy Committee.

A servant to the community, Leroy currently serves as director of the United Way Foundation and received the organization’s Volunteer of the Year Service Award for 2016. He also serves as Treasurer of Abilene Heritage Square and Director of Taylor County History Center. His previous community service roles include being director of the United Way of Abilene, West Texas Girl Scout Council, the Abilene Jaycees, Abilene Clay Sports, and Leadership Abilene Alumni Association. Leroy has also served as a chairman to the Abilene Better Business Bureau, budget chairman of the Salvation Army Capital Campaign, and president of the Abilene Business and Estate Planning Council. He is also a graduate of Leadership Abilene and a former Advisory Board member of the Abilene Mental Health Association.

Leroy and his wife reside in Abilene, TX and have five children and five grandchildren living in Florida, Missouri, and Texas.
